Mental Health & Creativity

Creativity and the practice of making lends itself to processing our experiences and coming to a greater understanding of trauma and its effect on our lives.

As we begin another academic year still in the midst of a global pandemic, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on how unprecedented events in the world and in our personal lives effect our mental health and creative output as makers.

We partnered with six local comic artists to create original works of art that meditate on the coexistence of mental health and creativity.
