| This is a competitive degree. Due to available resources, up to three students are accepted into the degree program each year in each of the areas. Students interested in this degree are strongly advised to plan an alternative degree option. Speak to your academic advisor for the option best for you. Typically students interested in a computer animation-related discipline, choose the BFA in Art, Computer Animation emphasis. | |||||

| Admission Requirements | |||||
1. Preadmission Core Courses: complete 9 hours with a GPA of 3.00 or higher from the following Electronic Arts preadmission core courses before applying to the program: ART 110(3) or 100(3); MED 290(3), 365(3); MUS 216(3). Core courses in the student’s chosen option must be completed before applying. 2. Initial Portfolio Review: Initial Portfolio Review: Portfolio must include a minimum of two and a maximum of three examples of audio, video, multimedia, and/or computer animation work, with at least one example coming from a core course. Specific guidelines are required for portfolios. See advisor or the Electronic Arts Coordinator for details. |
