| Specific
Admission Requirements In addition to completing Foundations courses students must pass the Candidacy Review for BFA in ART. A selection of work from Foundation and Studio Core areas is to be submitted to a committee of the art studio faculty for review during the spring semester of what is typically the student's sophomore year, after 24-30 hours of studio classes have been completed or are in progress. Student records will be encumbered at sixty hours if the student has not yet filed a degree program. It is the student's responsibility to apply for the review which is held only during the spring semesters. ART 499, Senior Exhibition, may not be taken unless the Candidacy Review has been completed. Transfer students should check with an advisor immediately for information about when and how to apply for candidacy. |
