Project 2: Animating a linear storyline
Choose one proverb from the list below (or suggest your own) and create a narrative animation
to depict it. You may use images, audio, drawings, paintings, clay, puppets,
video footage, etc. Pay special
attention to the timing, motion, transition, and visual style of
your animation. Make it look thought out. The purpose of this assignment is to practice effectively telling a story with animation.

Requirements:
Storyline:
Your storyline should be emailed to me and have:
1. The proverb you chose;
2. A concise paragraph of no more than 150 words to describe what
this proverb means to you and how you think this interpretation will affect the visual aspects of your animation. Does your vision have any aesthetic relatives? I.E. Samurai movies, graphic novels, 80's kid's shows, rap videos, etc?
Storyboard:
Your storyboard should represent the key moments of your animation,
and should make your idea accessible to others.
1. Use maximum 12 images in your storyboard to depict your animation

3. Hand in a printed copy or xerox of your storyboard
Animation:
Your animation must include ALL of the following:
1. Create a new composition in AfterEffects that is 320x240 pixels
in size and between 30 and 60 seconds in length @ 15 fps.
2. Use the proverb (text) you choose as the last scene, just before
the movie credit(if you have one). Besides the proverb and the opening/closing
credit(if you have), no other text should be used within the movie.
3. When finished make a Movie with the following render settings:
320x240, 15 fps, QuickTime format, MPEG-4 Video Compressor at 75%(High)
quality, Faster Compression.
4. Name your Quicktime file as follows: YourLastName_2.mov
5. Save your movie in your Assignment2 folder on your hard drive
node.
6. Follow the steps for preparing your files and uploading animations to the web.
