The Mac located at the back of room 506 and will connect directly to the PCs in the animation lab. |

After logging into the Mac with your standard MSU user name and password, from the Go menu select Connect to Server. Figure 1 |

2 Select the Animation Lab PC to which you would like to copy/save files from the Mac. Note - if you do not remember the name of the PC where your node is, consult the lab map and find your name. http://art-design.missouristate.edu/animation/General/lab.htm#drives |

| Once you have hit connect, another dialog box will appear asking for your login information. This is the same information as you would use to login to the PCs. Figure 3 | ![]() |

Step 4 Copy your files to the PC and then LOG OUT of the Mac.

The Other Option Another option for transferring data from the Mac to the PC is a USB drive. When you plug your drive into the USB port, a icon much like the one for the Renderfam will appear on your desktop. Simply double click on it to open it and copy your files over. Once again, make sure to drag the icon to the trash can before unplugging it. |
